It all started in 1928, when a businessman named Alfred Lambert decided to design and manufacture a wide range of rubber footwear to meet an ever-growing need.

In its early days, ACTON developed and manufactured products for the military, police, firefighters, miners, and general workers. At that time, Acton boots were made in the municipality of Acton Vale, which is where their name comes from.

From Alfred Lambert to ACTON International, today ACTON is a registered trademark of Chaussures Régence Inc.

Since the acquisition of ACTON in 2004, the team at Chaussures Régence Inc. has been working to develop safe, high-quality products in order to uphold its promise: to offer products adapted to your reality that enhance your comfort every minute of your day.
